Grant Lamb Obituary
Lima, Ohio Grant Lamb, 55, died Monday, October 15, 2018 in Lima, Ohio. He was born May 4, 1963 in Lima, to Ted E. Lamb and Brenda (Clymer) Davis. He is survived by his mother, Brenda (George) Davis; three sons, Nathan (Coral) Lamb, Josh (Ashley) Lamb and Luke VanAtta; seven grandchildren, Dylan, Jeremy, Avery, Camryn, Joshua Jr., Oakley and Mason; three sisters, Stacie (Shandon) Shine, Beth (Jared) Oder and Jennifer (Chad) Moening and two brothers, Steve (Kristen) Watters and Doug Watters. Grant was preceded in death by his father, Ted E. Lamb; his step-father, Steve Watters; paternal grandparents, Delmar and Erma (Griffith) Lamb; and maternal grandparents, William and Pauline (Parsons) Clymer. He had attended Columbus Grove Schools, and graduated from Elida High School, class of 1981. Grant was an Army veteran serving in Germany. He had worked at the former Scot Lad-Roundys, Lima. He was an avid Dodgers, USC, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Red Wings fan. Grant enjoyed fishing and hunting. He truly loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018, at St. John's United Methodist Church, Columbus Grove. Burial will be at Cairo Eastside Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2018, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Donations may be made to the Lima YMCA Mission.
