Gary Bowers Obituary
Gary Bowers, of Saegertown PA, formerly of Columbus Grove, went to heaven to be with the Lord on November 30, 2016. He was born in Lima OH on Sept 2, 1945 to the late Clarence and Mary (Greene) Bowers. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn whom he married Feb 29, 1972. He is also survived by three sons, Gregory (Melissa) Lusk of Lima, OH, Douglas Lusk of Pandora, OH, and Anthony Bowers of Ottawa, OH. A daughter Jennifer (Andrew) McClymonds of Saegertown, PA. He has one sister, Rita (Paul) Jones, of Findlay. He was very much loved by his 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Preceding him is death is a son Michael Bowers and a daughter Brenda Music. Two sisters, Mary Amburgy and Rose Meyer. Two brothers, Lynn Bowers and Carl Bowers . Bowers was a graduate of Tiffin University and worked at Philips in Ottawa for several years. He was the treasurer and deacon of the United Church of Christ, now the Columbus Grove Christian Church for several years. He most recently enjoyed attending the McLane Church in Edinboro, Penn. There will be a memorial service at the Columbus Grove Christian Church on Dec 17 at 11 a.m.
