Frances ""Franny" Tenwalde Obituary
Cairo, Ohio Frances Irene Tenwalde, age 50 died at her home near Cairo, Ohio. She was born on November 4, 1964, to Melvin and Laura June (Nutt) Tenwalde. They both preceded her in death. Frances was a graduate of Bath High School, and Apollo Career Center, class of 1983. She had worked in Cairo at the family business, The Log Cabin Restaurant, until it closed. Frances was a big fan of The Ohio State football team. She enjoyed playing cards, euchre and shooting pool with her friends. Franny loved to be outdoors listening to music, either CD's or especially radio station T102. She found great joy in her pet dogs, they were her babies. Frances is survived by two sisters: Clara Marie (Carl Davis) Williams, Sidney and Susan (Jack) Dyer, Gomer; three brothers: Robert Kilgore and Leonard Tenwalde, both of Lima, and Kenneth (Tracy) Tenwalde, Pataskala; many nieces and nephews, but two that were especially close to her: Marcus Williams and Laura (Shane) Houseworth, along with great nephew, Brandt. Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2015, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, Pastor Richard Jueckstock will officiate. Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family. Online condolences may be expressed at hartmansonsfuneralhome.com.
