Columbus Grove, Ohio Eleanor M. Link, 86, died at 5:55 a.m., on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora, Ohio. She was born on December 3, 1928, in Columbus Grove, to Fred K. and Eva V. (Brogan) Allen, both of whom preceded her in death. Mrs. Link was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School, class of 1946. Eleanor had worked at the former Ex Cello Co., Lima, and Pappy's Sassafras Tea Co., Columbus Grove. She was a member of the St. John's United Methodist Church, the Progressive Mother's Club, Bowers Slusser American Legion , Post #516, Auxiliary and VFW, Post #9648, Auxiliary, all of Columbus Grove. She enjoyed photography. Eleanor is survived by one son: Robert Wolfe, Georgetown, Florida; one daughter: Debra Parent, Lima; one step daughter: Linda Sharrits, Columbus Grove; one sister: Doris Pingle, Columbus Grove; five grandchildren: Brad Meyer, Eric Meyer, Tracy Perry, Christopher Wolfe and Brenda Wolfe. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert N. Wolfe, Charles R. Alter, G. Robert Link and a special friend Richard Grothouse; her daughter: Sue Wolfe Meyer; her son: Timothy D. Wolfe: her brothers Max and James Allen; and a sister Mary Kerner. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Dave Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Truro Cemetery, Columbus Grove. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, January 2, 2015, and one hour prior to her service on Saturday, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. John's United Methodist Church or to Hilty Memorial Home. Online condolences may be expressed at hartmansonsfuneralhome.com.
