Columbus Grove Eileen M. Knott, 85, died at 10:48 a.m. June 10, 2011, at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. She was born Aug. 25, 1925, in Bluffton to Harvey and Verna Augsburger Moser Sr., who preceded her in death. On July 8, 1948, she married Camillus J. Knott, who died Feb. 9, 1996. Mrs. Knott was a graduate of Bluffton High School. She retired as a pharmacy technician from Reaman Shawnee Pharmacy, Lima. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Columbus Grove, and its Altar Rosary Society. She was a member of the Canasta Club, Columbus Grove. She loved crocheting and spending time with her family. Survivors include two sons, Tim (Sue) Knott, of Bluffton, and Mark Knott, of Ottawa; a daughter, Sarah (Joe) Stewart, of Columbus Grove; a sister-in-law, Betty Moser, of Bluffton; six grandchildren, Alan (Lisa) Knott, Mike (fiancee Gina) Knott, Ashley (Brad) Ellerbrock, Josiah Stewart, Veronica Knott and Melissa Knott; and a great-granddaughter, Lilly Knott. She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Knott; four brothers, Francis, Marvin, James and Harvey Jr.; and two sisters, Ruth Basinger and Veldean Martin. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Columbus Grove. The Rev. Tom Oedy will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, where a rosary service will be held at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony School Endowment Fund or the charity of the donor's choice.
