Columbus Grove, Ohio Dorothy L. Dunlap, 90, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014. She was born on February 9, 1924, in New Bremen, Ohio, to Fred and Freida (Dickman) Koenig, they preceded her in death. Mrs. Dunlap was a graduate of New Bremen High School. After graduation Dorothy entered the U.S. Cadet Nurses Training Program, St. Rita's, Lima, where she became a Registered Nurse in the U.S. Nursing Corp., during WWII. She was a member of the Ottawa River Church of God. Dorothy enjoyed fishing, boating, and snowmobiling, and she was a member of the Red Hat Ladies. Survivors include four sons: Thomas L. (Janet) Dunlap, Michael G. (Jewelie) Dunlap, James K. Dunlap all of Columbus Grove and Max F. Dunlap of Lima, Ohio; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2014, at the Ottawa River Church of God, Rimer, Ohio. Officiating will be Pastor Mark Walls, with burial to follow at the Church cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, and Friday 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Ottawa River Church of God, Rimer. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ottawa River Church of God or the donor's choice. Online condolences maybe made at hartmansonsfuneralhome.com.
