Vaughnsville, Ohio Dorothy "Evelyn" Burman, age 91, died at 3:20 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Hilty Memorial Home in Pandora. She was born on May 1, 1925 in Putnam County to Orval and Ethel (Betts) Burman. They both preceded her in death. Evelyn worked many years as a bookkeeper for the George Wenger Insurance Agency in Lima. She attended the Ottawa River Church of God in Rimer. She enjoyed working on crafts, reading and spending time with her family. Survivors include two nieces: Rhonda (Bruce) Sparrow and Sondra (Kirk) Martini both of Lima; two great nieces: Lisa (Bob) Smith of Vaughnsville, Amy (Kevin) Busick of Pataskala; two great nephews: Matt (Liz) Martini of Spencerville and Mike Martini of Cairo; and six great great nieces and nephews. She dearly loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Clifford Burman and a sister, Doris (Stan) Rayman. Services will begin at 3:00 p.m., at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Mark Walls will officiate with burial to follow in Osborne Cemetery, Columbus Grove. Friends may call from 2:30 - 3:00p.m., on Monday, June 13, 2016, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove.
