Doris Rayman Obituary
Doris M. (Burman) Rayman, 81, died at 12:18 pm on June 10, 2012 at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born on Nov. 5, 1930 in Putnam County to Orval and Ethel (Betts) Burman, who preceded her in death. On December 15, 1951 she married Stanley Rayman, who died June 23, 2011. Mrs. Rayman was a homemaker. She had also worked at The Village Pantry Restaurant, as a waitress, and ran a coffee shop and gas station in Vaughnsville for several years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda (Bruce) Sparrow, and Sondra (Kirk) Martini of Lima, four grandchildren, Lisa (Robert) Smith, Vaughnsville, Amy (Kevin) Busick, Pataskala, Matthew Martini, Celina, and Michael (Kayla Daley)Martini, Vaughnsville, five great-grandchildren, Zach and Ian Smith, Thomas and Lillianne Busick, and Morgan Martini, one sister, Evelyn Burman, Vaughnsville, two brothers-in-law, Robert (Alice) Rayman, Romeoville, IL and Gene (Alice) Rayman, Elida, and one sister-in-law, Mildred Rayman, Ottoville. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Burman, two brothers-in-law, Glen Rayman and Paul Rayman; and two sisters-in-law, Maxine Crowe and Mary Rott. Services will be at 11:00a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Reverend Mark Walls officiating. Burial will be at Truro Cemetary, Columbus Grove. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8p.m. on Tuesday, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
