I am so sorry to hear about Denny's passing. I just found out today or I would have come to his funeral. My Name is Joy Emmer. I was Denny's Administrative Assistant at Peabody Galion where he served as President. Such a great guy to work with! We had a lot of fun. I secretly switched him from regular coffee to decaf, a little at a time and he never knew. He loved his family and he told stories about getting caught in the middle of a tornado and how a piano fell on top of him and his daughter was found out in a field. He was a great guy to work with. I got married and had to move to DC. It was very hard leaving my job at Peabody with Denny and all of the other great people thereÂ
Denny Miller gave me my first job at Unisteel in Lima after I returned from the US Army in 1971. I work there as a welder and then supervision until November of 1974 when they were told that the company was being split off and closing the Lima plant. Thank you, Denny, for that opportunity. RIP Boss
I will always remember what a good friend Denny was to Doris and Paul Icenogle. We had so much fun at the rotating card game and picking cherries at the farm. Rest in peace Denny. Our thoughts and prayers are with Pa.t and the family
I will always remember Denny as my dad’s best buddy. What fun we had as our families got together for those wild card parties. I can only imagine that those two buddies are on heaven’s bright shore “trying to sell someone a car†He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
Although I never met Dennis, I do know what an amazing daughter he raised, so I know he is a great man. My heart and prayers go out to Barb and your entire family. RIP Dennis and God Speed!
