ELIDA — Debra Kay Decker Geary, 56, died at 10:50 p.m. Feb. 14, 2013, at Lima Convalescent Home. She was born Oct. 3, 1956, in Lima to Fred and Jane Sybert Decker, who preceded her in death. Debra was married on May 15, 1993, to Charles T. Geary, who died Feb. 28, 2008. Mrs. Geary was a graduate of Elida High School, Class of 1976. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Elida. She had many interests, which included working with her flowers, photography, going to garage sales and collecting M&M memorabilia. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, she will be greatly missed by all. Survivors include two brothers, Denny Decker, of Lima, and David Decker, of Elida; a sister-in-law, Barb Decker, of Elida; and four nephews, Michael Decker, of Lima, Adam (Carly Ramsdell) Decker, of Lima, Jesse (Ilka)Decker, of Cleveland, and Andrew Decker, of Lima. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack L. “JD” Decker, who died Nov. 25, 2012. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. The Rev. Brian Knoderer will officiate. Burial will be in Ottawa River Cemetery, Rimer. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
