Brookville, Ohio Mr. David R Utrup Sr, 58, formerly from Vaughnsville, Ohio, died at Grandview Hospital, Dayton on Friday, May 24, 2019. He was born September 10, 1960 in Lima, Ohio to Richard Melvin Utrup and Beverly Jane (Pitney) Schwartz. Richard survives in Vaughnsville, Ohio. David graduated from Columbus Grove High School and attended Saint Leo College, Florida, where he played college football. He was employed by Cintas Uniform Company, Vandalia, Ohio. David was a big supporter of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State football and a huge fan of anything Disney. David is survived by four sons: David (Korinne) Utrup Jr, Michael (Audriona) Utrup, Jason (Madison Lewis) Utrup, and Jarred (Ashleigh) Doty. Two daughters: Sage Utrup and Christina (Chris) Brademeyer. One brother: Ed (Sherry) Wilson. Two stepbrothers: Mike Schwartz and Marvin Schwartz. One stepsister Patty (Paul) Hensley and four grandchildren: Alexus Utrup, Colton Utrup, Jensen Kohli, and Gracelyn Watkins. He was preceded in death by his daughter Samantha E. Utrup. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29 at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove with services immediately following visitation at 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
