David Lynn Rasor's Obituary
David L. Rasor, 72, of Columbus Grove, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Lima Memorial Health System. He was born on July 1, 1953, in Lima, Ohio, to the late E. Vernon and Dorothy B. (Edwards) Rasor.
He was a graduate of Bath High School and Bowling Green State University. David went on to have a career as a manufacturing engineer, retiring from Triumph Thermal Systems in Forest, Ohio. He was known for his passion for serving others through coaching sports teams, volunteering as a youth and children's ministry leader, missions and disaster relief efforts, and in retirement, built hundreds of beds for area children in need. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing with his family.
David is survived by Barbara, his wife of fifty years; sons, Matthew (Kristi) - Perrysburg, Joel (Angela) - Lima, and Aaron Rasor - Whitehouse, as well as his grandchildren Dylan, Jackson, Paris, Joel, Jacob, Anna, Bella, Jonathan, Owen and Benjamin. He is also survived by his brother Bruce (Christine) Rasor of Riga, Michigan and Nancy (Paul) Cain of Leipsic, Ohio. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Gail Rasor and Shirley Ann Wingeart; and grandsons, Brennan David Rasor and Tyler Cole Rasor.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Hartman-Rousculp Community Funeral Home 10879 SR OH-12 Columbus Grove with visitation two hours prior from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
