David N. Kreuzberg, age 74, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on May 2, 1949, in Lima, Ohio, to Norman E. and Evelyn (Arsinow) Kreuzberg, who preceded him in death. On October 9, 1971, he married Carolyn Thomas who survives in Columbus Grove.
David was a graduate of Culver Military Academy in Indiana, class of 1967. He was a salesman for The Lima News for “just shy of 40 years”. David loved woodworking, fishing – especially in Canada, birdwatching, and his daily favorite was watching Jeopardy! David was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Columbus Grove.
David is survived by his son Brian (Billie Jean) Kreuzberg of Pandora, his sister Jane Bland of Casselberry, Florida, two grandchildren Zach (Monica) Oakes and Darian Kreuzberg of Pandora, and great-grandchildren Carter and Maya. David was preceded in death by his brother Dennis Kreuzberg.
Friends may call on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home in Columbus Grove from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at close of visitation on May 17, 2024, Father David Ritchie presiding.
