First met Darren at a Cobank golf outing in Arizona. He was my cart partner. He was wearing an Ohio State hat and I had my Michigan hat on. We hit it off despite that and had a great day golfing. I would always see him at various conferences and catch up. I hadn't talked to him in a few years and didn't realize he left Sunrise. He was a great guy and hard worker and a devoted family man. My condolences to the family. Mike Wehner VP Finance Cooperative Elevator Co.
The Langhals family,It is always hard to loose someone so close but so young is even harder.I send my sympathy to all of you. Miss Thorburn
I am so sorry for your families loss. I would see Darren when I was in the office at various times and he would always have a smile on his face and he was just a great man to be around. I do feed sales for Sunrise Co-op and we would talk about feed for fair projects at his county fair and you could just tell that the youth was another one of his many passions. I wish I would've know Darren longer than I did but I cherish the time that I knew him at the Co-op. The world needs more Darren Langhals.

I am so sorry for your loss of a truly great human being! Darren was my boss for a short time at Sunrise and I learned so much from him in those few months about what is important. He always spoke of his family. You could see how important and how much love he had for them. He will be greatly missed. You are all in my prayers!
