Columbus Grove- Dale E. Sargent 68, passed away August 25, 2024 at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born April 4, 1956 in Lima, Ohio to Merlin “Butch” and Helen (Jones) Sargent who preceded him in death.
Dale was a social member of the VFW of Columbus Grove, Ohio. He was a retired sales representative. Dale was also an Ohio State Buckeye fan, a Detroit Lions and Tigers fan, and also a NASCAR fan.
Dale is survived by 4 sons: Joshua Sargent, Nathan Sargent, Benjamin Sargent and Jacob Sargent and 2 daughters: Amber Sargent and Shelby Sargent. He is also survived by 3 brothers: Roy (Robin) Sargent, Joe (Sylvia) Sargent, and John (Jill) Sargent. In addition, he is also survived by numerous grandchildren and nephews and nieces.
A private gravesite service will be held at a later date.
