Martin, one of the dearest of friends to know. Martin (and Betty) were the best of friends to our parents, Welty C. and Janet Burkholder (both deceased). Our dad and Martin worked together on the railroad that then was called the B & O. Memories that will be with us always: Camping at Crooked Lake,Boating,Martin teaching us how to water ski at 5 Span River in Defiance Ohio. My two brothers impressed with Martins slalom skiing followed his example and learned to use one ski. The way Martin was always there for all of us. As my brother in law says one dandy of a man. My sister, Jeanine, shares what a blessing it has been knowing Martin. Amen.
