Pandora, Ohio Catherine M. Hale, 75, of Pandora and formerly of Elida, died Monday, October 1, 2018 at Lima Memorial Health Systems. She was born April 1, 1943, in Springfield, Ohio to John and Mary (Mayer) Irons. They both preceded her in death. She had been married to Earl Hale, the father of their children, who survives in Lima and then married Delmar Hale, who preceded her in death. Catherine is survived by two daughters, Julie (Troy) Gahm of Lucasville, Ohio and Tammie (Steve) Bishop of Pandora; two sons, Wayne Hale of Indiana and Douglas Hale of Lima; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and a sister in-law, Mary Warrens of Lima. She was preceded in death by a brother Leonard Warrens. Catherine worked for 35 years at Trim Treads, formerly Hayes-Albion in Spencerville. She attended Union Chapel Church, Lima. She enjoyed gardening, working with her flowers and she loved her chihuahua, Roxy and her four cats. Services will begin at 11:00 am, October 5, 2018, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, Ohio. Pastor Mark Bayliff will officiate with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida. Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice.
