Columbus Grove - Carole E. Striff, 64, passed away peacefully in her home at 9:41 a.m. on September 26th, 2024. She was born January 13, 1960 in Lima to Harry Cunningham and Etheleen Gross Cunningham.
Carole married Jeffery A. Striff on July 1st, 1994, who proceeded her in death on February 7th 2007. Carole’s mother and father both proceeded her in death. Also proceeding her in death was her sister Meriam Cunningham Findlay.
Carole was an avid gardener, who enjoyed growing and canning her own food. Carole worked most of her life in the food and service industry, and enjoyed helping others. In her free time she loved bingo, scratch off lottery tickets, and a good margarita. She also loved trips to get that “Good” Casino air. She loved adventures with her best friend Warren Ridinger and spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life!
She is survived by her son Michael (Jessica) Kopenhaver, of Grayson, Kentucky. Also surviving are her grandchildren Trinity Kopenhaver and Kyler Kopenhaver, her best friend Warren Ridinger, her sister Jean Cunningham Baxter, and her brother Harry Cunningham Jr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Hartman Sons Funeral Home Columbus Grove, Ohio on Monday September 30th from 10am-1pm with funeral service to begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jim Klausing presiding. Burial to follow service at Shawnee Cemetery Lima, Ohio.
