Carl Dugger Obituary
Carl Dugger, age 77, of Columbus Grove passed away peacefully at St Rita’s Hospital in Lima on June 6, 2024. He was born on October 3, 1946 in Sidney, Ohio, to Joseph and Genevieve (Fields) Dugger, both of whom preceded him in death. On December 31, 1976, he married Linda Adkins who passed away on April 24, 2018.
Carl is survived by his daughters Tamela (Rene) Ramirez and Lisa Jefferson (Tierre Dansby); his sister Carolyn Mikesell, and nine grandchildren; Andrea (Jason) Main, Andrew Ramirez, Kylie (Kirkland) Schlegel, Kelsie (Brent) Horstman, Demetrius (Lindsey) Brown, Camryn (Nathan) DalPolo, Makaela (Joey) Vouis, Ashtyn Jefferson, Jordan Dilworth. He is also survived by brother-in-law Gary Adkins. Carl was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Dugger.
Carl was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School, class of 1964. He was an avid Bulldogs Football fan. During Vietnam, Carl joined the US Navy serving on the USS Yancey and was proud to serve his country. Carl loved helping people and never met a stranger.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, Ohio, from 2:00 to 4:00 and from 6:00 to 8:00. Additional visitation will be held Tuesday, June 11, from 11:00 am to Noon. A memorial service will be held at Hartman Sons Funeral Home at Noon on Tuesday, following the visitation. Burial at Salem Mennonite Cemetery near Elida will be held following the service.
