COLUMBUS GROVE - Candy S. Jones Eby, 59, of Dayton, formerly of Columbus Grove, died at 8:44 p.m. July 30, 2012, at Hospice of Dayton in Dayton. She was born Aug. 2, 1952, in Lima to Lloyd A. "Pete" and Alice Musgrave Jones. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Columbus Grove. Candy was a 1970 graduate of Columbus Grove High School and a 1975 graduate of Ohio Northern University, Ada, with a degree in pharmacy. She had been a member of Chapter 527 Order of Eastern Star, Columbus Grove. She had worked at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, for 37 years. She enjoyed playing cards and being with family. Survivors also include a nephew, Pete (Rachel) Jones, of Brecksville; and two great-nephews, Jasper and Sawyer. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Jones. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Dave Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Truro Cemetery, Columbus Grove. Friends may call one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
