Bodine "Bo" Reinsel Obituary
Columbus, Ohio formerly of Cairo, Ohio Bodine W. "Bo" Reinsel, age 47, died on May 27, 2016. He was born on September 13, 1968, in London, Ohio, to William A. "Bill" and G. Cooka Reinsel. They both preceded him in death. He is survived by his step mother, Donna Reinsel of Ocala, Florida. Survivors also include one sister: Camille N. Reinsel Miller of Findlay, Ohio; two brothers: James B. (Jennifer George) Reinsel of Port Huron, Michigan and Curt C. Reinsel of Pittsburgh, PA; step brother: Ryan (Sherry) Jones of Columbus, Ohio; step sister: Renee (James) Ting of Hawaii; two nieces: Sigourney (Scott) Smith of Bluffton, Ohio and Alex (Jasmine Steiner) Miller of Tiffin, Ohio; one nephew: Hudson Reinsel of Port Huron, Michigan and one great niece: Xandra Gatchel. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Alex Reinsel. Mr. Reinsel was a graduate of Bath High School, class of 1987. After graduation he entered the U. S. Army for seven years, serving during the Desert Storm. He had attended the Ohio State University for one year after his discharge from the Army. It should be noted that Bo was a Hopi "Pueblo" Indian. He attended one year of Jr. High School at the Santa Fe Indian School, Santa Fe, N.M.. He enjoyed playing league baseball while growing up in Cairo, and played football in High School. Bo took guitar lessons as a senior in High School and continued playing through out his life. He was a fan of the OSU Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds. Bo loved his music, live concerts and festivals. He was very interested in his heritage, the Native American Culture and pow-wows. He was very proud to have been a veteran and always supported his fellow veteran. Graveside services will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Cairo Eastside Cemetery. Pastor Ruth Ann Scoby will officiate. Military rites by Columbus Grove American Legion and VFW combined Color Guard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256. Online condolences may be expressed at hartmansonsfuneralhome.com.
