COLUMBUS GROVE
Billy Lee Ream, 52, died May 26, 2013, in Indio, Calif.
He was born Sept. 6, 1960, in Lima to Billy and Roxanna Hawk Ream. His father died in 1963; his mother survives in Columbus Grove. He married Lisa Zukoski, and she survives. He had been married to Mary Ehrhardt, and she survives in Columbus Grove.
Mr. Ream was a 1978 graduate of Columbus Grove High School, after which he worked at the Gas Station, Columbus Grove, and General Dynamics, Lima. At the time of his death, he was head of security for a casino in Indio, Calif. He very much enjoyed working on his 1963 teal Chevy while a young man in Columbus Grove. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan, and his favorite beverage was Diet Mountain Dew.
Survivors include a son, Adam Ream, of Columbus Grove; three daughters, Melanie (Aaron Smith) Ream, of Columbus, Emily (Michael) Taylor, of Pearland, Texas, and Sara (Andrew) Hermiller, of Columbus Grove; three brothers, Dale (Wynonia) Wood, of Cleveland, Jay Moye, of Cincinnati, and Thomas (Kelly) Moye, of Clermont, Fla.; two sisters, Jodi (Dan) Johnson, of Albion, Ind., and Cari (Jamie) Fuerst, of Columbus Grove; and two grandchildren, Zosia and Mateusz Taylor, of Pearland, Texas.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lori Wood and Laura Jane Ream.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Eagle’s Q-Hut, Columbus Grove.
