Bea was my “boss” for 22 years in Surgery. She had a way of building confidence in new staff. She was always willing to listen to staff’s concerns and questions and help guide us. May you be welcomed into heaven and rest in peace, Bea.

Bea was my mentor from the time she hired me until her time of passing! Not only as an RN surgery mentor but as a personal friend. (She even served like a 2nd mother figure after my own mother passed). We were also “carpool buddies” for many years when traveling to work. Great fun, lots of laughter together! She was ornerier than others knew! Liked to play pranks! Traveling to work with the boss wasn’t always fun ie; she made sure when roads were impassable that she got the Sheriffs Dept to take us in. Darn! I thought for sure I was getting a bad weather day off! Love & will always miss you‼️ 😍
The staff of Putnam County Hospice sends our deepest sympathy for your loss. We will keep Bernice and all her family and friends in our thoughts and prayers.

Aunt Bernice’s was an example of a life well-lived. Her devotion to her family and her church was always evident in how she lived her life. May you rest in peace, Aunt Bea.
Our sympathies to the family of Bea. What a great person! I will never forget how she welcomed me when I started working in recovery room. She will always be special & missed. John & Ginny Kahle
What a GREAT and strong Lady. From my neighbor, fiend and boss she was the best.
