Alma Wehri Obituary
OTTAWA Alma Jean Wehri, 87, formerly of Columbus Grove, died at 7:20 a.m. Jan. 10, 2013, at St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born Jan. 20, 1925, in Miller City to Orville and Alavada Letherman Moore, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 14, 1943, she married Wendelin B. Wehri, who died July 22, 1996. Mrs. Wehri was a homemaker. She had attended St. Anthony Catholic Church, Columbus Grove. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include three sons, Steven Wehri, David Wehri and Dale (Kristy) Wehri, all of Ottawa; two daughters, Janet Treadway, of Lima, and Brenda (Carl) Lindeman, of Columbus Grove; two sisters, Sally Maag, of Glandorf, and Doris Nichols, of Ottawa; a sister-in-law, Henrietta Brown, of Ottawa; and 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth St. Johns; a son-in-law, George Treadway; two grandchildren, Julie Raines and Bobby Krontz; and two brothers, Ed and Lloyd Moore. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Columbus Grove. Father Tom Extejt will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, where a rosary service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday.
