Pandora, Ohio Agnes Mary (Kiene) Friedel,92, of Pandora, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, Ohio. She was born November 16, 1925 in Pandora to the late Joseph and Gertrude (Stechschulte) Kiene. Her husband, Alton Friedel preceded her in death in 1974. Agnes is survived by a daughter, Jeanne (William) Hately of Colorado; four grandchildren: Bradley (Sandra) Niese of MI, Benjamin Niese of Ottawa, Andrew (Laura) Niese of Pandora and April (Johnny) Chavez of Leipsic and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Jean Beckman, Ottawa and a brother: James Kiene of Pandora. She is preceded in death by her twin brother, Charles Kiene and brother, Richard (Cecille) Kiene; sisters, Cecelia Webster and Rosemary (Delbert) Latta; sister in-law, Cassie Kiene and one brother in-law, Jim Beckman. Agnes graduated from Pandora High School in 1942. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society. Agnes had worked at the former Phillips ECG, Ottawa, retiring in 1990. She enjoyed family, gardening and caring for her yard. She also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11:30 a.m., Friday, November 16, 2018, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Columbus Grove, Ohio. Father Daid Ritchie will officiate with burial to follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. on Friday, prior to the services at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Online condolences may be expressed at hartmansonsfuneralhome.com
