I was so sorry to read of Mrs. K's passing. She was a wonderful lady. I alway's enjoyed her class at Shawnee. She could make you smile even when she knew you didn't have anything to smile about. Your family is in my prayer's.Lisa Shankland

Mrs. Krukenberg was one of my favorite teachers at Shawnee High School.Her Home Economics class one that I looked forward to each day. Betty was a warm, encouraging, and positive influence toward every student in the class. To the Krukenberg family, I am so sorry for your loss.

Mrs Krukenburg was one of my favorite teachers at Shawnee, I think of her encouragement and patience every time I sit down at my sewing machine. My condolences to her family.

My sincere and loving thoughts are with you . I wish I could be there with you, but I am in Mississippi at this time. Betty and I grew up together, and later worked together at Shawnee. She will certainly be missed.
My condolences to the Krukenberg Family. Mrs. Krukenberg was a big influence in making "Home Arts" a part of my life. I have thought of her often through the years. Sewing, cross stitch, knitting, and my current love of quilting all started at Shawnee High School. Class of 1970
Betty was a wonderful lady who will be missed by many. I will always treasure her friendship and the memories I have of her. My prayers go out to John and her family on their loss.
